I'm not going to just read something BECAUSE its yaoi or yuri. I like my fanfictions to be well written, and make sense. It can be hetero, yaoi, or yuri, as long as it's good. I really hate it when people just make a crack pairing that makes no sense (and then they don't even try to make it make sense) and write a bunch of grammatically flawed sentences then expect everyone to love it just because its yaoi or yuri. I've read fanfics with some crazy pairings in them, but the writer actually made it seem reasonable and, shock shock surprise surprise, they actually took the time to write it well!!!
Things I hate in fanfics: Changing tense (generally I'm not a fan of present tense anyways, but I hate it more when people keep changing it) Bad grammar (Don't even get me started) Inconsistent fonts (seriously, if there's no reason to change the font then don't switch it in the middle of the paragraph) Generic descriptions ('sexy' should be banned from the list of adjectives)
That's only the tip of the iceberg
I know there are some people out there that feel the same way, just trying to figure out how to say it.
Fanfiction is really pointless where the characters are hanging out with the author, or just killing other people or sleeping around. Just not worth reading!

Yes. I agree with this, but does that mean I don't support the fanfiction I write?

True love is when you shed a tear and still want him. It's when he ignores you and you still love him. It's when he loves another but you still smile and say "I'm happy for you" when all you really do is cry... and cry.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
