Death by deadrabbit13 Death by deadrabbit13
THIS IS NOT AN EMO STAMP

See, the thing is, everyone always treats Death as the enemy of Life. This is a very petty idea.
I believe in balance. Death balances Life. Every thing that lives must die and that is not a bad thing. If we didn't have Death, we wouldn't value Life (because why should you care about something if its forever).
Of course I would like to live a little longer. Or a lot longer. However, if its my time to die, then that's the will of Life, and of Nature. I'll just have to go with it.
Death does not have "victims". He has passengers, patrons, charges. Not victims. (oddly enough, I find is mostly christians that have an utter disdain for Death)
So, this is for all of you who understand the same.
Death is no Evil Thing

i agree with this because Death as the symbolic figure i imagine as the controller of the cross road to heaven and hell and death in reality is natural but killing is evil

Night/day, Black/white, Sun/moon, Water/fire, Man/woman, Child/Adult, Life/death... everything needs a counterpart as you said for balance. The only thing I don't like about death is the uncertainity of what happens afterwards. Will I start a new life in another body? My same life in another dimension? Another time? Or just a deep blackness forever and ever? (I don't like the last one...)

Death is neither good, nor evil.

People always say, Death is inevitable, but that's a lie.

How would they know? I, for once, believe there is a way..

... A way to escape death's calling grasp.

Nothing, and I mean Nothing! Is inevitable.

There's always a way out, an explanation.

I also believe there is an explanation to everything. We just simply haven't figured it out yet.

Still. This is just my opinion, and I respect others, as I shall expect you, to respect mine as well.

That is all.

Who said Death is evil thing? That's funny, guys...
I accept opinion not only about balance,
but being as a person, that has very deep interest in paranormal stuff, I wanna say -
People usually mix things like evil and darkness. IT'S TWO MAZAFAKEN' DIFFERENT THINGS.
Death is black and negative for other people only because they fear death.
Stop it, it's being funny already.
I'm getting butthurt while Death is being insulted as evil, stop it.
JUST STOP.

Well, it might be easier for me because of how my religion goes, but for me death is much of an illusion as life.  No one technically dies as their energy lives on eternally in some form.  Like I said, dying is merely an illusion to me.  I will live on in another form of energy no matter what it may be.  "Death", simply is a time to change. A metamorphosis into a new me that is still the core me that has always existed.  Yes, I'm not ready to part with this form of me and neither are anyone of my loved ones ready for me to part from this form, but I recognize that when I do part from this form I have nothing to fear and neither should anyone else feel fear or guilt upon their "death".

Personally I would say Life and Death are like siblings. Very smilar yet differnt. So if Life was good you would asmue that Death is evil. However that is not the case. Its like when people say 1 twin is good and the other bad. Why can't both be good or both be bad?

In other words I agree.

and christians are hypocrites to top it off, they believe in heaven, or so they say, as long as the person was "rightous" they will go to a btter place, agaian so they say, so if they don't want people to die they are being selfish. there arecertian deaths where i can see the person was a "victim", but in general no death is not bad. by default war and disease is not a bad thing either. or starvation. live each day as if it was your last, that is all you can do, even if death truelly is the end of the road, as long as you lived well it was a life worth living.

Well yes, I don't believe in "death" as I feel we live on in energy through another form so death is merely an illusion.

*Ps. I would understand if Christians just pretty much completely dismissed the concept of death, but they accept death very strongly as existing and  then contradict it by saying eternal life will happen instead.

So very true. Death does balance things out. It has the power to take the pain away. It's not something we should fear, because when it happens, it happens, and no matter what you think, deep down you're ready.

And, as my signature says, mourn not the departed, ye simple mortals, for death is only the beginning.

I hate it when people treat Death as if they're evil, or the enemy. They take people when it's the TIME to die. I'm pretty sure people who are suffering sometimes wish they were dead, and Death grants that. Also, for all the people who say Death loves killing, it doesn't say anywhere that Death ENJOYS killing.

Indeed, I have never seen any proof that Death is taking any sadistic pleasure in taking life. Technically, Death the entity isn't killing anyone, just escorting the soul that left it's mortal coil.

Death is a kind maiden; if you've watched someone decline you would be able to see this personally. When my grandfather was declining I was praying that Death would be kind to him.

Iam really amazed to see someone else too have the same value of outmost importance of life as myself. I have had the same thought in my head for years, but I didnt think I would cross someone else that also have this way of thinking/living. And have the courage too send out your thought like this. I see all too often of the ignorance of mankind that think we can get all the ying we want in the world without the yin trespassing into the realm of yang. We truly need a balance of them both to survive. Especialy when we grew to many we need more to survive and when that happens we destroy alot more around us. Thus killing ourself in the end.

I'm always happy to find other people that think this way.
Yes, life needs balance, so much time people don't even think about their own mortality and live like it will be forever.

Agreed, the world population is way too high. If we just went one to five years without having any children it could relieve the world greatly.

I couldnt say it better than how you just have explained.
What humans also need to really understand, not only to know. But truly too understand is that we arent that important that we say we are. If we get hurt, doesnt we all cry, if we get cut, doesnt we all bleed. All life is needed and human kind isnt more important that any other life becuase we need all too remains the balance of harmony that has taken billions of years to substain life as we know it.
We all need too know, truly understand the circle of life. How we are born, dies and then reborn in that matter that our bodies will rot away and give lifes too others as others deaths does the same for us.

Humankind truly need to know what we are, what we truly need and the outmost importance how to show a greater concern for all life and improve the standard of all lives.

If I would get killed by an wild animal that ethier is protecting their young cubs or for food, I never would want other of my kind to start too hunt these animals for killing one human of natural causes. I know that Iam just one human, one life, one animal that has borrowed my life from our allmother earth. Im just a small part of the cycle what we call life.

Agreed, people resent death, and make the being Death out to be some sort of suffering craving, demon who strives to kill, but this is not the case. Without death, think of how cataclysmic the world would be, that is more than it already is. Like I always say, don't shoot the messenger... the job needs to be done, he's [ Death] only doing his job.

you have a point death gets criticized far too much and gets judged as evil when death helps people that are in pain he takes away their pain and allows them to rest peacefully I feel soooooooo bad for death if all I got was bull shit (excuse my french) for helping poor souls I would be pretty depressed you know what when I meet death I will give him (or her no one knows) a big hug

And considering that ALL things die, it's not like Death is targeting anyone specifically. Yet people get so wrapped up in this tiny little world and forget to realize that it's not just good people or loved ones that die; everyone dies.
